January 22 2009 – High Net Worth Individuals (HNWI) and Sustainable Finance: A promising future

For its first seminar, SFG was pleased to welcome Matt Christensen, Executive Director of Eurosif (European Sustainable Investment Forum), who will present the key findings from the recent Eurosif study on HNWI and Sustainable Investment. The Eurosif study shows that HNWIs are open to new and alternative sustainable investments. According to Mr.Christensen, “Servicing the HNWI segment offers great opportunities for product innovation which could eventually prove useful for other investor segments such as institutional investors”. The study reveals that this market represents 10 million people worldwide with a total of € 40 trillion under management, of which 12% are invested in Sustainable Investment.
