Microinsurance – an invitation from ILO – July 3rd
Tuesday 3rd July from 4 to 6:30 PM – ILO Headquarter (Library) / Geneva & Live WebCast
The ILO Microinsurance Innovation Facility invites you to meet with the authors of the Microinsurance Compendium (volume II), and get an overview of the trends in the microrinsurance sector!
The interactive session will bring the opportunity to meet with key microinsurance stakeholders, to dialogue in small groups around specific topics and to network with peers. By attending, participants will get an overview of the major trends of the microinsurance sector and have the possibility to interact with some authors in ‘Questions corners’. We’ll end the event with a cocktail so as to continue exchanging in an informal way.
The authors and experts who are (tentatively) lined up to contribute to the session are: Craig Churchill (trends), Jeanna Holtz (health), Michal Matul (client value), Pranav Prashad (agriculture and disaster risks) from the ILO’s Facility, Samia Kazi Aoul (microinsurance for migrant – ILO), John Woodal (microinsurance and social protection – ILO), Peter van den Broeke (regulation-IAIS), Eric gerelle (the role of technology – IBEX) and Brandon Mathews (the experience of commercial insurers – Zurich Financial Services). Register for free as soon as possible to guarantee your participation. More…
