Vanina started her career with the US law firm Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen &amp; Hamilton in Brussels in competition law. As of 2003, she joined the Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization (GAVI), a public-private partnership, first as Chief, Office of the President and subsequently as Program Officer in Geneva where she was in charge of fundraising, as well as of managing the International Finance Facility for immunization (IFFIm). Dr. Catherine Ferrier is a Lecturer in environmental policies at the University of Geneva and other institutions including the University of Applied Sciences of Western Switzerland and Pole Universitaire Léonard de Vinci (Paris), Catherine has researched and taught on climate change issues for over 10 years, particularly focusing on international climate change negotiations and on the legal and institutional frameworks of carbon trading schemes. Si la facilité de caisse PME d&#8217;une banque cantonale est accordée à 3&#8242;000 clients pour un montant moyen de CHF 40&#8242;000, pourquoi d&#8217;autres banques ne développent-elles pas un produit similaire? Une institution non-gouvernementale suisse octroie 30 microcrédits par an. <p>Energie : faits, mythes, chancesUn approvisionnement énergétique qui concilie les impératifs économiques et écologiques constitue l‘une des conditions sine qua non du fonctionnement d‘une société développée. La manière dont l‘approvisionnement en énergie sera assuré constitue certainement l‘un des défis majeurs de ce 21ème siècle. La demande croissante en énergie soulève des interrogations légitimes quant à la sécurité des ouvrages nucléaires, l‘utilisation des ressources limitées ainsi que les changements climatiques. Des options réalistes pour les prochaines décennies seront ébauchées lors de cette présentation.</p>

En même temps, les fondations opèrent dans un environnement en constante évolution et sont confrontées à de nombreux défis, notamment : la baisse des revenus, la revitalisation des fondations existantes, l’adaptation de leur stratégie, le placement de leur fortune, la nouvelle perception du rôle du conseil de fondation, l’intérêt croissant des fondations à engager des coopérations ou encore les nouvelles formes d’encouragement expérimentées par certaines d’entre elles.
