CHIARA VON GUNTEN

Chiara von Gunten first joined Z/Yen Group, a commercial think-tank headquartered in the UK, in 2010. Since 2012, she has been heading business development and professional services for Z/Yen’s office in Geneva, Switzerland.
Chiara works with clients in the financial, not-for-profit and public sectors globally on topics related to finance, sustainability, macroeconomics, innovation and strategy. Chiara has co-authored a number of publications including “Financing the Transition: Sustainable Infrastructure in Cities” (March 2015) and “Chain of A Lifetime: How Blockchain Technology Might Transform Personal Insurance” (December 2014). Chiara manages Long Finance, a Z/Yen’s initiative aiming to improve society's understanding and use of finance over the long term through dedicated programmes, publications and events.
Prior to joining Z/Yen Group, Chiara worked for the Sponsoring & Philanthropy unit of Lombard Odier & Cie in Geneva and the Sustainable Development department of the City of London Corporation in London.
Chiara holds an MSc in Environment and Development (Distinction) from the London School of Economics and a Master in International Relations (Distinction) from the Graduate Institute of International Studies.
